Legacy for Learning Society Member Spotlight: Barbaralee Ross-Kantrowitz

Barbaralee Ross-Kantrowitz dedicated her life to education, teaching in the NYC School system. After retiring as a senior administrator in the NYC Board of Education, she continued her mission as an educator by lecturing about art in South Florida. Barbaralee had an extensive collection of paintings, lithographs, and sculptures. In her will she left her art collection to local museums, and FIU’s Jewish Museum of Florida has been the appreciative recipient of 15 of those artworks. Her love of art and artists can now be shared with students and museum visitors.
